Role Description
We are seeking skilled Metal Fabricators and Welders to join our growing construction and manufacturing teams. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gold Coast, QLD, with opportunities to work on a diverse range of structural and modular fabrication projects.
You will be responsible for producing, assembling, and welding structural steel components used in residential, modular, and infrastructure builds. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to precision and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and weld steel frames, beams, brackets, and modular components.

Interpret and work from technical drawings, fabrication sketches, and blueprints.

Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of materials (mainly mild steel and structural sections).

Operate cutting, bending, and shaping machinery as required.

Ensure all work meets dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards.

Conduct quality inspections, rectify defects, and complete project documentation.

Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and tool organisation.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Role Requirements

Proven experience as a Welder, Boilermaker, or Metal Fabricator in construction or manufacturing.

Relevant trade qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent).

Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately.

Strong understanding of welding processes, material handling, and quality assurance.

Competence in MIG and/or TIG welding, with appropriate certifications.

High attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.

White Card and current driver’s licence required.

Forklift, overhead crane, or elevated work platform tickets (advantageous).
