Role Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced tradespeople, construction workers, and machine operators to join our growing project teams. These are full-time, on-site roles working across residential, civil, and modular construction projects throughout Queensland.

You’ll be part of a professional and supportive environment where safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship come first. Whether you’re an operator, tradesperson, or general construction worker, you’ll play an essential role in helping GRW deliver quality communities that shape the future of regional and coastal Queensland.

Available Roles

We’re currently looking for experienced personnel in the following areas:

• Qualified Trades: Carpenters, Formworkers, Concreters, Plumbers, Electricians, Steel Fixers

• Machine Operators: Excavator, Loader, Roller, Grader, and Skid Steer Operators

• Civil & Construction Labourers: Site preparation, trenching, concreting, drainage, and landscaping

• Site Crew Leaders & Leading Hands

• Modular Housing Assembly & Fit-out Crew

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day construction and installation activities safely and efficiently.

• Operate tools, equipment, and machinery in line with training and safety procedures.

• Follow construction plans and supervisor instructions with attention to detail and quality.

• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and subcontractors.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free worksite.

• Uphold GRW’s standards for workmanship, punctuality, and professionalism.

Role Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the construction, civil, or modular housing industry.

• Relevant trade qualification, licence, or plant operator ticket (where applicable).

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

• Ability to interpret plans, follow instructions, and work both independently and as part of a team.

• White Card (Construction Induction) required.

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
