Role Description

We are seeking reliable and experienced Construction Tradesmen / Experienced Construction Workers / Labourers to join our team on a full-time basis in Northern Queensland, with a focus on the Whitsunday region. These are hands-on, site-based roles supporting residential and community development projects across a range of construction activities.

The successful candidates will assist in delivering quality construction outcomes through skilled trade work, general site operations, and labour support. This role is suited to individuals who take pride in their workmanship, work well within a team environment, and are committed to maintaining safety, productivity, and quality on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general construction, trade, and labouring duties across active project sites.

• Assist with site preparation, framing, fixing, formwork, installation, finishing, and general build support as required.

• Support supervisors, site managers, and trades teams to maintain workflow and meet project milestones.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load, unload, move, and organise materials, tools, and equipment on site.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas throughout all stages of construction.

• Follow project drawings, instructions, and site procedures to ensure works are completed correctly.

• Identify and report hazards, defects, delays, or safety concerns promptly.

• Assist with defect rectification, finishing works, and handover preparation where required.

• Adhere to all WHS requirements, site rules, and quality standards at all times.

Role Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in construction, trade, labouring, or related site-based work.

• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded for tradesmen applicants.

• Strong practical knowledge of construction processes, tools, and safe work practices.

• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• White Card essential.

• Current driver’s licence essential.

• Additional tickets, machinery experience, or site competencies highly regarded.

• Experience in residential, civil, modular, or general building projects will be highly regarded.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
