Role Description
We are seeking experienced Scaffolders / Riggers to join our team on a full-time basis in Northern Queensland, with a focus on the Whitsunday region. This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting residential and construction projects through the safe erection, modification, dismantling, and handling of scaffolding systems and rigging operations.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining safe and efficient site operations, ensuring access systems, lifting activities, and structural support works are carried out to the highest safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Erect, alter, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.

Carry out rigging duties to support lifting, positioning, and securing of materials, equipment, and structural components.

Ensure scaffolding and rigging works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site programmes.

Conduct pre-start checks, equipment inspections, and routine maintenance of tools and gear.

Work closely with site supervisors, crane operators, subcontractors, and construction teams to coordinate safe site access and lifting activities.

Identify and report hazards, equipment faults, or safety concerns immediately.

Follow all site procedures, SWMS, permits, and WHS requirements at all times.

Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of scaffold materials and rigging equipment on site.

Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas.

Support broader site operations where required to help maintain project productivity.
Role Requirements

Current and valid Scaffolding and/or Rigging tickets/licences relevant to the role.

Demonstrated experience working as a scaffolder, rigger, or in a similar construction site role.

Strong knowledge of safe work practices, load handling, and access system requirements.

Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding site environments.

Solid understanding of WHS requirements and site compliance obligations.

White Card essential.

Current driver’s licence essential.

Additional high-risk work licences, dogging, EWP, forklift, or other site tickets highly regarded.

Experience on residential, civil, or large-scale construction projects will be highly regarded.

Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
