Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with NatHERS Accreditation to lead and coordinate sustainable design initiatives across GRW’s residential and community projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gold Coast, QLD, focused on integrating energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and design optimisation into all stages of project delivery.
You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, builders, and local authorities to ensure compliance with NCC energy efficiency standards and GRW’s sustainability objectives, helping deliver projects that perform as well as they look.
Key Responsibilities

Manage NatHERS energy ratings and compliance for residential and community developments.

Collaborate with design teams to enhance building orientation, thermal performance, and passive design outcomes.

Conduct detailed energy assessments and provide practical recommendations to achieve or exceed minimum compliance.

Coordinate sustainability objectives with architectural, structural, and services consultants throughout the design and construction process.

Ensure all designs meet NCC Section J and state-based sustainability requirements.

Prepare and submit accurate documentation, certification reports, and compliance statements.

Contribute to innovation in low-energy and sustainable housing design within master-planned communities.

Liaise with clients, councils, and certifiers to facilitate smooth project approvals.
Role Requirements

Accredited NatHERS Assessor (required).

Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building Design, Environmental Design, or equivalent field.

Strong understanding of thermal modelling software (e.g., FirstRate5, HERO, AccuRate, BERS Pro).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential energy rating, building design, or project coordination.

Solid knowledge of NCC energy efficiency provisions, passive design principles, and construction detailing.

Excellent coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
