Role Description

We are seeking experienced Site Supervisors to oversee the day-to-day delivery of residential and community development projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gold Coast, QLD, with potential travel to project sites across South East and Regional Queensland.

The Site Supervisor will manage on-site construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and head office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who ensures projects are built on time, on budget, and to GRW’s high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities.

• Ensure build quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained at all times.

• Manage and schedule subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections to meet program milestones.

• Review construction drawings, identify buildability issues, and provide feedback to project management.

• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety audits in line with WHS legislation.

• Track progress, maintain site records, and report to Project Managers regularly.

• Ensure compliance with QBCC, NCC, and local council requirements.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a smooth and professional client experience.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision (residential, townhouse, modular, or civil projects).

• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (or ability to obtain).

• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain production schedules.

• Strong understanding of building codes, construction detailing, and quality assurance procedures.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach.

• Proficient in using project management and site reporting tools.

• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to regional project sites when required.
