Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of civil and infrastructure works across multiple land development projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based on the Gold Coast, with project involvement across South East Queensland and regional master-planned communities.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery — from design coordination and tendering through to construction supervision, compliance, and handover — ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, sewer, water, and earthworks for master-planned communities.

Oversee design consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, local council, and QBCC requirements.

Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract administration.

Conduct site inspections, progress reporting, and quality control across all project stages.

Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and communication.

Liaise effectively with local councils, service authorities, and stakeholders.

Support the delivery of infrastructure and land subdivision approvals through detailed coordination with town planners and engineers.

Lead a culture of safety, teamwork, and technical excellence.
Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

5–7+ years’ experience in civil project management within the land development or infrastructure sector.

Strong understanding of civil design, construction methodologies, and regulatory frameworks in Queensland.

Proven experience managing projects valued between $500k – $2M+.

Experience with engineering documentation, tendering, and subcontractor management.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes under pressure while maintaining quality and safety standards.
